COVID-19 Club Operating Information
On the 23rd of March, 2020, Hendra Healthworks was ordered to temporarily close by government mandate to slow the spread of COVID-19 and save lives.
All memberships were suspended free of charge.
We spent the entirety of the closure period renovating the club and preparing for a safe re-opening- quite literally building a better, safer and more hygienic facility for you to enjoy.
On the 13th of July, 2020, Hendra Healthworks re-opened and remains fully compliant with the ‘The Industry Covid-Safe Plan for Fitness Facilities’ for Queensland , which you can view here
We’ve implemented the following to keep you safe;
- Touchless tapware and hand dryers in the change rooms
- Touchless hand sanitizing stations in all areas of the club
- Appropriately spaced or labelled equipment to allow members to maintain a physical distance of 1.5m
- Installed additional signage to assist you in training safely and to make you aware of maximum number of people in a given area
- Addition of automatic hand sanitiser stations throughout the club
- Plenty of paper towel and no rinse sanitiser to allow you to clean your equipment before and after use
- Disabled the water bubbler component of our drinking fountains
- Restricting the number of members in each area as required
- Regular sanitisation and cleaning of equipment plus a commercial clean each day
- Installed an automated reminder to adhere to guidelines periodically via the gyms sound system.
As a condition of entry, members are expected to:
- Book only for Reformer Pilates classes (and Spin when the classes begin again).
- Scan in upon entry (if you do not have fob, you can purchase a new one for $5 or scan in by name)
- Wash your hands or use alcohol-based hand sanitiser upon arrival;
- When in club adhere to any signage advising maximum members numbers in a given area.
- Addition of automatic hand sanitiser stations throughout the club
- Disinfectant wipe down of exercise equipment before and after use;
- Using a clean towel each time they attend their session or class;
- Bring your own drink bottles.
- Regular sanitisation and cleaning of equipment plus a commercial clean each day
- Never come to the club if you are feeling unwell
- Leave the gym once you have completed your workout session.
